The EPIX
Initiative

Africa carries over 24% of the global disease burden while producing less than 2% of global health research. The problem is not talent. The problem is infrastructure. EPIX exists to build it.

The Research Lab

Where African Evidence Gets Made

The EPIX Research Lab designs and conducts community-based health studies, produces peer-reviewed publications and develops digital health tools built from what our research actually finds.

Our current focus is Digital Health and Adolescent Health, two areas where Nigeria's evidence gap is most significant and where innovation has the most concrete potential for real-world change.

"We identify the gap. We research it. We build the solution. We test it in the community it was built for."
